The Beast 
(The Pinball Machine)
Brought back to life through the interaction of original mechanical constructions and more contemporary versions of technology, such as arduinos, this pinball machine is a metaphor of the simultaneity of a life lived in two or more realities and two or more versions of modernity.
The piece also presents the superimposition of two narratives. The colonial content of the original narrative of the playfield, which was once titled “The Black Pyramid,” and the new narrative on the experience of immigration that has been directly drawn on the playfield by the artist.
La bestia (La maquinita de pinball)
Traida de nuevo a la vida a través de la interacción de construcciones mecánicas originales y versiones de tecnología más contemporáneas, tales como los arduinos, esta maquinita de pinball es una metáfora de la simultaneidad de una vida vivida en dos o más realidad y dos o más versiones de la modernidad.
La pieza también presenta la superimposición de dos narrativas. El contenido colonial de la narrativa original del campo de juego, que una vez fue llamado “La pirámide negra”, y la nueva narrativa sobre la experiencia de migración que ha sido dibujada directamente sobre el campo de juego por la artista.
